elhi Times PCJ India Showcase Week 2017, was held at Roseate House, Aerocity from 25th March to 27th March. The event made headlines all across media in Delhi as well as Mumbai. It was a three day long debut fashion event. It was organised by Delhi Times and managed by Talent Factory. The fashion show was a major hit which couldn’t get any better. It witnessed elites from the Fashion Industry and Bollywood as well.
Mr. Sanjay nigam, the founder of Talent Factory is the man who made this show a grand success. It was under his supervision that Delhi Times PCJ India Showcase Week received appreciation and success. He is a man with fierce approach, a passion for mentoring young talent and being an all-rounder.
Delhi Times PCJ India Showcase Week 2017 was a fashion gala which began much earlier with the fittings on 22nd and 23rd of March. Next was the launch party at Playboy Club on the eve of 24th March followed by the three days of fashion show which was concluded with a Grand Finale by Ritu Beri on 27th of March. The event finally ended with the success party at Gatsby Club on the 31st of March. PC Jewelers was the Title sponsor, Lakme Salon was makeup and hair partner, Star Salon by Aashmeen Munjal was the styling partner, Cocoona skin care clinic was the skincare partner, Fashionista Institute of Fashion Technology was the knowledge partner, W Five Communications was the PR partner and Mealodrama Café was the Café partner. The show was directed by Rashmi Virmani and Pranav Hamal. The entire event was managed by Talent Factory.
Three Days of Fashion
Day 1 of Delhi Times PCJ India Showcase Week 2017 kicked off on an exciting note. Several celebrity deisgners as well as the rising designers showcased their unique collections. The opening show was presented by designer Mandira Wirk with her latest ‘resort wear’ collection named ‘Ocean Love’. Designers Bharat and Reshma preseted their beautiful Indian collection followed by designers Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor. The first showstopper of the event was Vidyut Jamwal for designer label Bharat Reshma. The showstoppers for the Finale by PC Jewellers, were Randeep Hooda and Malaika Arora Khan.
The second day was all about the myriad aspects of fashion. It saw some of the best collections from traditional as well as contemporary modern styles by designers such as Niki Mahajan, Pallavi Madeshia, Sagar Tenali and Lalit Dalmia. Survivors of acid attack also graced the ramp, presented by Cocoona Skin Care clinic. The students of Fashionista Institute presented their mesmerizing collection. Zareen Khan and Divya Khosla Kumar were the show stoppers of the day for designers Karishma & Deepa Sondhi and Nitya Bajaj respectively.
The final day was celebrating the spirit of fashion. It had designers Ashok Maanay, Sadan Pande, Rina Dhaka, Meena Bazaar, Rocky Star and Ritu Beri showcasing their stunning collection. The audience could not stop applauding when Ritu Beri concluded the event with her graceful collection. Kanika kapoor was the showstopper on the last day for designer Nandita Mahtani and Gauhar Khan for Meena Bazaar.
